About WARC Files
WARC (Web ARChive) is the ISO-standard format for archiving web content. Each file contains captured HTTP responses, HTTP requests, and metadata. You can download individual yearly captures or use curl -O https://archive.1990web.com/batch/1999-full.warc.gz to grab entire year bundles. All files are GZIP-compressed and include WARC-Target-URI headers for programmatic access.
