• Plagiarism & Copyright Violations: Submitting uncredited work or bypassing fair-use guidelines.
• Conflict of Interest Concealment: Editing articles related to personal, commercial, or political affiliations without disclosure.

5. Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness conduct that violates this Code, please report it immediately. All reports are treated as confidential and handled by our Trust & Safety team.

When reporting, please include:

1. A clear description of the incident
2. Direct links to relevant articles, comments, or user profiles
3. Timestamps and screenshots (if applicable)
4. Your contact information (optional, for follow-up)

Reports can be submitted via our secure form or emailed directly to our moderation team.

6. Enforcement & Resolution

Aevum Encyclopedia utilizes a graduated response system to address violations proportionally:

• Level 1: Private warning and education on community guidelines
• Level 2: Temporary suspension of editing privileges (7–30 days)
• Level 3: Permanent account suspension and IP restriction for severe or repeated violations

Decisions may be appealed within 14 days of notification. Appeals are reviewed by an independent editorial board, and outcomes are final.

7. Scope & Applicability

This Code of Conduct applies to all Aevum Encyclopedia properties, including but not limited to: the main encyclopedia platform, knowledge graphs, AI-assisted search tools, discussion boards, review portals, official social media accounts, conferences, and affiliated partnerships. It also extends to off-platform interactions when they directly impact our community's safety and integrity.
