How It Works

1. Apply & Screen

Submit your application. Our team reviews passion, leadership potential, and campus impact goals.

2. Orientation & Training

Complete our 4-week digital journalism bootcamp. Learn content planning, fact-checking, and community engagement.

3. Launch & Execute

Host campus events, publish student features, run media literacy campaigns, and grow Aevum's campus presence.

4. Grow & Transition

Build your portfolio, attend summits, and transition into internships, editorial roles, or leadership positions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program
  • Maintain good academic standing (GPA 3.0+ or equivalent)
  • Passion for journalism, media, or digital storytelling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active social media presence (2+ platforms)
  • Ability to commit 5-8 hours weekly for 6 months
  • Willingness to organize at least 2 campus events per semester
  • No prior professional experience required

Campus Ambassadors receive an event stipend, training resources, and career benefits. While not a salaried role, top performers qualify for paid internships and freelance contracts with Aevum News.
Do I need journalism experience?
Not at all. We provide comprehensive training in reporting, editing, and digital publishing. We value curiosity, leadership potential, and a commitment to ethical storytelling.
How much time does this require?
Expect to dedicate 5-8 hours per week. This includes content planning, event coordination, and virtual check-ins. All major events are scheduled around academic calendars.
Can I apply if my university isn't listed?
Yes! We actively seek ambassadors from emerging campus media hubs. If your university isn't listed, you'll be considered for a Pioneer Ambassador role with expanded support.
