About the Role
Aevum Global Logistics — the logistics division of Aevum Zenth Conglomerate — is seeking a Logistics Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of autonomous systems across our worldwide supply chain network. You will bridge robotics, AI, and operations to create a seamless, self-optimizing logistics ecosystem.
You'll work within a cross-functional team of controls engineers, data scientists, and supply chain analysts, deploying intelligent automation across our 47 distribution centers, autonomous freight corridors, and last-mile delivery networks across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and beyond.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement automated material handling systems, including AS/RS, AGVs, and AMR fleets for our distribution centers.
- Develop predictive maintenance algorithms and digital twin simulations for logistics infrastructure using real-time IoT sensor data.
- Engineer machine vision and deep learning pipelines for package sorting, damage detection, and inventory reconciliation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and routing algorithms to maximize throughput while minimizing energy consumption and operational cost.
- Collaborate with our Zenth Digital Systems division to integrate autonomous logistics with our enterprise AI and cloud platforms.
- Lead automation pilots for new distribution facilities, managing proof-of-concept through full-scale deployment.
- Author technical specifications, SOPs, and safety protocols for robotic and automated systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our internal knowledge base and cross-divisional tech transfer programs.
