Reporting directly to the Office of the CEO, Dr. Rostova will lead the conglomerate’s centralized innovation strategy, overseeing technology transfer, advanced research integration, and the commercialization of breakthrough systems across all 400 subsidiaries.
The new executive role reflects Aevum Zenth’s commitment to consolidating its vast R&D capabilities into a unified innovation engine. As the conglomerate continues to scale operations in quantum computing, aerospace propulsion, synthetic biology, and next-generation energy infrastructure, the CIO position was established to eliminate silos, accelerate time-to-market, and ensure that foundational research directly informs product development across divisions.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Dr. Rostova’s mandate encompasses:
- Centralized oversight of the conglomerate’s $12B annual R&D budget and 14 global research facilities
- Cross-divisional technology transfer and IP commercialization strategy
- Integration of AI, quantum computing, and advanced materials pipelines across Energy, Aerospace, Healthcare, and Robotics divisions
- Startup acquisition, venture partnerships, and strategic technology scouting
- Establishment of innovation accelerators and open-research collaboration frameworks with academic and government institutions
About Dr. Elena Rostova
Dr. Elena Rostova
Dr. Rostova brings over two decades of experience in advanced systems engineering and strategic technology development. She previously served as Director of Advanced Research at NovaTech Dynamics and led cross-functional innovation teams at the European Institute of Applied Physics. Holding a Ph.D. in Quantum Materials Engineering from ETH Zurich and author of 180+ peer-reviewed publications and patents, Dr. Rostova has consistently bridged the gap between theoretical breakthroughs and commercial deployment. She joins Aevum Zenth from the Horizon Science Council, where she chaired the Global Emerging Tech Steering Committee.
Dr. Rostova will be based out of Aevum Zenth’s Neo Geneva headquarters, with frequent rotations across regional innovation hubs in Tokyo, Munich, and Singapore. She will work closely with divisional CTOs, engineering leads, and corporate strategy teams to align research investments with market trajectories and sustainability targets.
