Overview
At In Therapy, we are committed to maintaining transparent and fair terms of service. This document outlines the types of changes we may make to our Terms & Conditions, how you will be notified of those changes, and what your rights are when changes are implemented.
We believe in open communication. Before any material changes take effect, we will provide clear notice and give you ample time to review the changes and make an informed decision about your continued use of our services.
Important: Please review this page periodically, as it contains the most up-to-date information about how we communicate and implement changes to our terms. Continued use of our services after changes are effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Types of Changes
We categorize changes to our Terms & Conditions into three types, each with different notification requirements and effective timelines:
| Change Type | Description | Notice Period |
|---|---|---|
| Material Changes | Substantive changes affecting your rights, obligations, fees, or service scope | 30 days minimum |
| Non-Material Changes | Minor clarifications, formatting, or administrative updates | 14 days minimum |
| Urgent Changes | Changes required by law, security, or to address safety concerns | Immediate with notice |
How We Notify You
When we make changes to our Terms & Conditions, we will notify you through one or more of the following methods:
- Email Notification: We will send a detailed email to the address associated with your account, describing the nature of the changes and providing a link to the updated terms.
- In-App Notification: A notification banner will appear when you log in to your account, alerting you to the pending changes.
- Website Banner: A prominent banner on our website will indicate that terms have been updated, with a link to review the changes.
- Direct Contact: For significant changes, your assigned therapist or our client support team may contact you directly to discuss the changes and answer any questions.
We recommend keeping your contact information up to date in your account settings to ensure you receive all important notifications about changes to our terms.

Right to Accept or Decline
For material changes, you have the right to accept the new terms or decline them. If you choose to decline material changes, you may continue using our services under the previous terms until the end of your current service period. However, please note that the previous terms may not be available indefinitely.

You have the right to receive clear, plain-language explanations of any changes. If you have questions about how changes affect your specific situation, our client support team is available to help explain the updates and their implications.
