01 Purpose & Scope
At Isdomain, we understand that the foundation of any successful brand lies in the protection of your ideas, strategies, and proprietary information. This Confidentiality Policy outlines our legal and operational commitments to safeguard any information shared with us during consultations, naming development, branding projects, or legal advisory engagements.
This policy applies to all clients, prospective clients, partners, and third parties who disclose confidential information to Isdomain, its employees, contractors, or affiliates.
02 Definition of Confidential Information
Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to:
- Business plans, market research, financial data, and growth strategies
- Unpublished brand concepts, naming options, logos, and creative assets
- Customer lists, supplier agreements, and internal operational workflows
- Legal documents, IP filings, trademark applications, and compliance records
- Any information marked as "Confidential" or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential given the nature of the information and circumstances of disclosure
Note: Information submitted during initial consultations is automatically treated as confidential, regardless of formal labeling, until a service agreement is executed.
03 Our Obligations
Upon receiving Confidential Information, Isdomain agrees to:
- Use the information solely for the purpose of providing agreed-upon consulting, naming, branding, or legal services
- Restrict access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, all bound by internal NDAs
- Implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure
- Not license, sell, publish, or otherwise exploit the information for commercial gain without explicit written consent
04 Data Protection & Security Measures
We maintain a secure infrastructure aligned with modern data protection standards:
- End-to-end encryption for file transfers and client communications
- Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication on all internal systems
- Regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and staff training on data privacy
- Secure cloud storage with geographic redundancy and automated backup protocols
- Compliance with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and local jurisdictional requirements
05 Exceptions to Confidentiality
Our confidentiality obligations do not extend to information that:
- Is or becomes publicly available through no breach of this policy
- Was rightfully in our possession prior to disclosure without restriction
- Is independently developed by Isdomain without reference to your confidential materials
- Is rightfully received from a third party without confidentiality restrictions
- Must be disclosed pursuant to law, court order, or regulatory requirement, provided we give you prompt notice (where legally permitted) to allow you to seek a protective order
06 Duration & Return of Materials
Confidentiality obligations under this policy remain in effect for a period of five (5) years from the date of disclosure, unless otherwise specified in a separate service agreement. For trade secrets and core intellectual property, obligations survive indefinitely.
Upon your written request or termination of our professional relationship, Isdomain will promptly:
- Return all physical and digital copies of your Confidential Information
- Securely erase or destroy such information from servers, devices, and backups using industry-standard sanitization methods
- Provide written certification of destruction upon request
07 Legal Remedies & Dispute Resolution
We recognize that unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information may cause irreparable harm. In the event of a breach, you shall be entitled to seek equitable relief, including injunctions, specific performance, and monetary damages, in addition to any other remedies available under law.
Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, matters shall be settled via binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable jurisdiction, or in courts of competent jurisdiction as agreed upon in our primary service contract.

We may update this Confidentiality Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. All updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued engagement with Isdomain constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
