Room-by-Room Setup Guide
Not every space needs to be fully pet-proofed immediately, but these zones require your attention before arrival:
Living Area
Secure loose cords, remove toxic plants, and designate a calm resting spot away from high-traffic zones.
Kitchen & Dining
Store trash securely, keep countertops clear, and decide where food/water bowls will go (quiet, draft-free).
Entry & Exits
Install baby gates if needed, check fence integrity, and keep doors/screens secure during the first week.
Sleeping Zone

What to Have Ready on Day 1
