Brand Identity &
Visual Guidelines
A structured framework for building, maintaining, and scaling cohesive brand systems. Documented for internal alignment and external partner clarity.
Strategic Over Aesthetic
At PRISM Studio, branding is never merely decorative. It's the intersection of market positioning, behavioral psychology, and visual communication. Our guidelines exist to ensure every touchpoint reinforces strategic intent, not just visual preference.
We treat brand systems as living architectures: modular, scalable, and rigorously tested across digital, print, environmental, and experiential contexts.
Visual System & Guidelines
Primary & Secondary Spectrum
Colors are assigned strategic roles, not decorative ones. Primary drives recognition, secondary enables hierarchy, neutral provides breathing room.
Typography Hierarchy
Two typefaces manage information architecture. Syne for impact, Space Grotesk for readability.
Logo Usage & Lockups
Correct application ensures instant recognition. Clear space and minimum sizing are non-negotiable.
Correct Clear Space
Always maintain a minimum clearance of 1x logo height around all sides.
Monochrome Variants
Use white on dark backgrounds, black on light. Never apply gradients to the primary mark.
Incorrect Stretching
Logo proportions must remain locked. Never alter aspect ratio or kerning manually.
Incorrect Backgrounds
Avoid placing on busy imagery or low-contrast surfaces. Use solid or blurred overlays.
Layout & Spacing System
A 12-column grid with 8px baseline rhythm ensures consistent alignment across breakpoints.
Application Contexts
Identity systems must survive translation across media. These are our validated application standards.
