Campaign Creation Standards
Every campaign on RaiseIt must meet baseline quality and transparency requirements. This ensures backers can make informed decisions and creators set realistic expectations.
Core Requirements
- Clearly stated funding goal and primary project milestone
- Realistic timeline from campaign end to reward fulfillment
- Transparent budget breakdown showing how funds will be allocated
- High-quality visuals (images, videos, or 3D renders) showcasing the concept
- Verified creator identity and valid contact information
- At least 3 reward tiers with clear descriptions and shipping details
Funding & Backer Protections
RaiseIt operates on an "all-or-nothing" default model. Creators only receive funds if they reach 100% of their goal within the campaign window.
- Campaigns run for a maximum of 60 days. Extensions require platform approval.
- Backers are charged only upon successful funding.
- Refunds are not automatically processed. Creators must agree to or initiate refunds through the dispute portal.
- Backers must provide accurate shipping addresses before fulfillment begins.
Community & Communication Rules
Healthy dialogue drives successful crowdfunding. Creators and backers must maintain respectful, constructive, and transparent communication.
- Creators must post at least one project update every 14 days during active campaigns
- Comments must be moderated to remove spam, harassment, or off-topic promotion
- Disputes should be resolved privately before escalating to platform support
- No soliciting external platforms for direct sales to bypass fees or guarantees
Payouts, Fees & Processing
We keep our fee structure transparent. No hidden charges, no surprise deductions.

Payouts are initiated within 5 business days after campaign closure. Funds are deposited directly into the verified bank account or digital wallet on file.
Prohibited Content & Activities
To maintain platform integrity and legal compliance, the following are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate removal and account suspension:
- Illegal goods, services, or activities (including weapons, drugs, or stolen data)
- Financial securities, tokens, or investment contracts disguised as rewards
- Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or dangerous misinformation
- Impersonation of brands, individuals, or government entities
- Campaigns designed to cause environmental or public harm
- Direct solicitation of personal data beyond what's required for fulfillment
Legal & Tax Compliance
Creators are responsible for understanding and complying with local, national, and international laws related to their projects.
RaiseIt provides standard 1099-K or equivalent tax documentation for platforms exceeding reporting thresholds. Creators must maintain proper business registrations, permits, and insurance where applicable. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified legal or tax professional before launching high-value or regulated campaigns.
