Learn Our Story

Four generations of recipes, one flame, and a lifelong dedication to the art of cooking.

Where It Began

From a Family Kitchen to a Culinary Destination

Sabor & Fuego didn't start in a commercial kitchen. It began in Nonna Maria's sunlit apartment in 1978, where spice jars lined the windowsill and the scent of roasting garlic lingered long after dinner.

Decades later, Chef Elena Moretti brought those handwritten recipes to life, blending Italian roots with bold Latin American influences. What started as weekend pop-ups in a shared market space quickly became a waiting-list phenomenon.

Today, we honor that legacy by keeping our kitchen open, our ingredients transparent, and our fire always lit.
