📼 Origin Story

Hosted originally on a University BBS mirror and later migrated to GeoCities, the AJ Singalong was a monthly RealAudio gathering where early web creators shared MIDI covers and live acoustic streams.

🗃️ Restoration Process

Recovered from 3 archived .ZIP files and a mirrored Usenet post. Audio has been normalized, lyrics cross-referenced with 1997 guestbook entries, and metadata timestamped to Nov 14, 1997.

🌐 Web Ring Connection

Part of the "Indie MIDI Makers" webring. Features embedded Shockwave intros, hit counters, and a hand-coded HTML guestbook still visible in the source.
