🌐 URL Submissions

Active or defunct URLs from 1990-1999. We crawl and snapshot them with period-accurate rendering engines.

📁 Offline Files

Upload HTML, ZIP, MHTML, or directory bundles. Original file names and structure help with metadata tagging.

🖼️ Visual Artifacts

Screenshots, scanned printouts, or photos of CRT monitors displaying period web content.

⚠️ What We Don't Accept

Modern sites, copyrighted material without permission, malware, or content violating digital preservation ethics.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How long does processing take?
URLs are typically crawled within 24-72 hours. File uploads undergo manual verification and may take 1-2 weeks. You'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking ID.
What if the site is offline or dead?
That's exactly why we exist. Submit the URL anyway. Our crawlers check archive caches, DNS records, and historical routing tables to reconstruct what we can.
Do I retain copyright?
Yes. Submissions are preserved under a non-commercial license. Creators may request removal or licensing changes at any time via our legal portal.
Can I submit modern recreations?
Only if clearly labeled as historical reconstructions. We prioritize authentic period artifacts but welcome documented recreations for educational use.
