Your privacy on ConnectHub is built on transparency and user control. Whether you want to share with the world, keep your content close to friends, or limit data collection entirely, our settings adapt to your needs.

📍 Accessing Privacy Settings

Follow these steps to reach your privacy control panel:

1. Open your profile

   Tap your avatar in the bottom-right corner (mobile) or top-right (desktop).

2. Access Settings & Privacy

   Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the top-right corner, then select "Privacy & Security" from the sidebar.

3. Navigate to Privacy Settings

   You'll now see a categorized dashboard. Use this guide to configure each section.

👤 Profile Visibility

Control who can see your profile, follower list, and account status.

Available Options:

• Public

  Anyone on or off ConnectHub can view your profile.

• Friends Only

  Only approved connections can see your content and profile details.

• Private (Close Friends)

  Maximum restriction. Only users on your custom list gain access.

📸 Posts & Stories Privacy

Set default audiences for your uploads or manage visibility per post.

When creating a post, tap the audience selector next to the "Share" button. You can also adjust historical posts in bulk:

1. Bulk Visibility Update

   Go to Privacy > Posts > "Manage Past Posts" to retroactively change audience settings.

2. Close Friends Stories

   Toggle "Close Friends Only" when posting a story to share with a curated list.

3. Hide From Specific Users

   Under "Block & Hide", add users who shouldn't see your content without blocking them.

📊 Data & Analytics

Manage how ConnectHub collects, stores, and uses your activity data.

You can request a complete data export at any time. Processing typically takes 24-48 hours. You'll receive a secure download link via email.

🎯 Ad Personalization

Choose how your interests and activity influence the ads you see.

Key Controls:

• Ad Interests

  View and remove categories used to tailor ads to your preferences.

• Limit Tracking

  Opt out of cross-app activity tracking while keeping personalized ads within ConnectHub.

  Reset your ad profile history with a single tap.
