Welcome to FlavorShare. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, browsing, or using any part of FlavorShare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

FlavorShare is operated by FlavorShare Inc. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. User Accounts & Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Content & Licensing
FlavorShare is a community-driven platform where users share recipes, photos, cooking tips, and reviews ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload.
By posting User Content, you grant FlavorShare a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving our Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account, subject to applicable caching, backup, and legal retention policies.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post any content you share. You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it.
4. Community Guidelines & Conduct
To maintain a safe and welcoming environment, you agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliations.
- Upload content that infringes on another's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or automate access to the Service in violation of its terms.
- Promote unsafe cooking practices or provide nutrition/medical advice without proper credentials and disclaimers.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
5. Intellectual Property
The FlavorShare platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is owned by FlavorShare Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our proprietary materials without express written permission.
The FlavorShare name and logo are registered trademarks. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
6. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.
7. Disclaimers & Warnings
FlavorShare provides recipes and cooking information for educational and entertainment purposes only. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, safety, or completeness of any User Content. Cooking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to foodborne illness, allergic reactions, and kitchen accidents.
You assume full responsibility for verifying recipes, substituting ingredients, and following safe food handling practices. FlavorShare is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages resulting from the use of recipes or information found on our platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlavorShare and its directors, employees, partners, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

The arbitration shall take place in San Francisco, California.
