Everything you need to know before scheduling your session

How long does each interview round take? +
Initial screenings typically last 15-20 minutes. Technical or creative deep-dives are usually 45-60 minutes. The final culture fit conversation is approximately 30 minutes. We'll communicate the expected duration when you receive your calendar invite.
What if I need to reschedule? +
Life happens! Just email us at least 24 hours before your scheduled time, and we'll gladly find a new slot that works better for your calendar. Our scheduling system will also provide one-click rescheduling options in your confirmation email.
Are interviews conducted remotely? +
Yes! All initial interviews are conducted virtually via Zoom or Google Meet. For certain on-site roles, we may invite you to our office for a final round, but this is optional and we fully accommodate remote candidates worldwide.
How do I prepare for the interview? +
Review our latest blog posts to understand our editorial voice and content strategy. Prepare questions about the role and team. For technical roles, brush up on fundamentals. For creative roles, have your portfolio ready. We'll also send a preparation guide after you submit your request.
Is this process free for contributors and guests? +
Absolutely. There are never any fees associated with interviewing, contributing, or collaborating with InkWell. We believe in fair, transparent partnerships. Any mention of payment requests is fraudulent — always verify through our official domain.
