As a global crowdfunding platform, RaiseIt hosts millions of creative projects. We recognize that intellectual property (IP) is the lifeblood of innovation. This policy outlines how we handle copyrights, trademarks, patents, and proprietary ideas shared or discussed on our platform.

🛡️ Creator IP Rights & Ownership

When you launch a campaign on RaiseIt, you retain full ownership of all intellectual property associated with your project. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Original designs, prototypes, and technical specifications
• Campaign descriptions, images, videos, and promotional materials
• Patron rewards, digital content, and exclusive updates
• Trademarks, logos, and brand identifiers associated with your project

We require you to ensure you have the legal right to use all materials included in your campaign. If your project involves third-party IP, you must provide proper attribution or secure necessary licenses before publishing.

🔗 Limited Platform License

To operate and improve our services, you grant RaiseIt a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Host, display, and distribute your campaign content across our website, mobile apps, and marketing channels
• Store, back up, and cache materials to ensure platform functionality and security
• Analyze engagement metrics and optimize user experience
• Remove or modify content that violates our Community Guidelines or applicable laws

This license terminates upon your request or when you delete your campaign, except where legal obligations or archival requirements apply.

⚠️ Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe a campaign on RaiseIt infringes upon your copyrighted work, you may submit a DMCA takedown request. We process all claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and international equivalents.

Your notice must include:

• A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder
• Clear identification of the copyrighted work
• Direct URLs to the infringing content on RaiseIt
• Your contact information (email, phone, address)
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized
• A statement acknowledging penalties for perjury

®️ Trademarks & Brand Guidelines

RaiseIt, our logo, and all related service marks are registered trademarks of RaiseIt Inc. Unauthorized use of our branding to imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation is strictly prohibited.

Creators may use the phrase "Backed on RaiseIt" or "Crowdfunded on RaiseIt" in marketing materials, provided:

• The campaign successfully reached its funding goal
• Our logo is used only in approved formats (downloadable in your Creator Dashboard)
• Visual hierarchy clearly distinguishes your brand from RaiseIt's

⚖️ Dispute Resolution & Enforcement

RaiseIt is a neutral platform and does not act as a legal arbiter in IP disputes between creators, backers, or third parties. However, we reserve the right to:

• Suspend or remove campaigns pending investigation
• Freeze campaign funds if legally required
• Cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies
• Implement a repeat infringer policy (three strikes may result in permanent account termination)

We encourage users to resolve disputes through direct communication, mediation, or formal legal channels. Our support team can facilitate introductions when requested.
