Security FAQ

How does LoveLink verify user identities?

We offer optional photo verification using AI facial recognition and manual review. Verified users receive a badge. We never store raw biometric data; only encrypted verification tokens are retained.

What happens if I report a suspicious profile?

Reports are triaged within 2 hours. Our safety team reviews behavioral patterns, IP logs, and media metadata. Malicious accounts are suspended immediately, and compromised data is quarantined. You'll receive a status update via secure notification.

Can someone screenshot my private messages?

While we can't technically prevent device-level screenshots, our E2EE ensures messages aren't stored on our servers after delivery. We also send watermark tracking on shared photos and discourage sharing sensitive data in chats.

How long is my data retained after deletion?

Account deletion triggers a 14-day grace period for recovery. Afterward, all personal data is permanently erased from active systems. Backups are cryptographically shredded within 30 days in compliance with our retention policy.
