Limitation of Liability

Please read this Limitation of Liability section carefully. It forms part of our Terms of Service and restricts the liability of LoveLink and its associated entities in connection with your use of the Service.

1. No Warranties

LoveLink provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LoveLink and its affiliates disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information or matching results provided through the Service.
• Warranties regarding the compatibility or suitability of any potential matches suggested by our AI algorithms.

2. Limitation of Indirect and Consequential Damages

In no event shall LoveLink, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Emotional distress, personal injury, or harm resulting from interactions with other users.
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
• Damages related to dating experiences, relationships formed or not formed, or outcomes of dates arranged through the Service.

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if LoveLink has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

3. User Conduct and Interactions

3.1. Meeting Other Users

LoveLink facilitates introductions between users but does not control the conduct of any user. We are not liable for any conduct of any user, whether online or offline, including but not limited to:

• Fraudulent or deceptive behavior.
• Harmful, offensive, or illegal content shared by users.
• Physical harm, injury, or emotional distress resulting from meetings with other users.

Users agree to meet other users at their own risk and to take appropriate safety precautions. We strongly encourage users to report any suspicious behavior and to refer to our Safety Tips.

3.2. Matching Algorithms

While LoveLink employs advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to suggest potential matches based on compatibility factors, we do not guarantee that any match will result in a successful connection or relationship. Matching results are based on data provided by users and algorithmic predictions, which may not always reflect real-world compatibility.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services. LoveLink does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use thereof.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LoveLink and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of the Terms of Service.
• Your violation of any rights of any third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Your conduct in connection with any interaction with other users.

6. Aggregate Liability Cap

To the extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of LoveLink for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to LoveLink during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater. For free users, the liability cap shall be $0.

7. Essential Nature of the Service

You acknowledge that LoveLink is a dating and matchmaking service. Any limitation of liability in this section is an essential and material part of your agreement with us. Without such limitations, LoveLink would not be able to provide the Service at the prices offered or at all.

8. Governing Law

This Limitation of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction specified in our Terms of Service, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to this limitation shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service.

9. Changes to this Policy

LoveLink reserves the right to modify this Limitation of Liability at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
