Termination of Services

You may terminate your LoveLink account and stop all services at any time by following the instructions provided within the application settings under "Account & Privacy" > "Delete Account".

Upon your request for voluntary termination:

• Your profile will be immediately removed from search results and match queues.
• Active matches will be notified that you have left the platform (without identifying you as the terminator).
• Any ongoing video chat sessions will be disconnected.

LoveLink reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service.

Common reasons for termination include, but are not limited to:

• Submission of fraudulent, misleading, or fake profile information.
• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward other users or support staff.
• Use of bots, scrapers, or unauthorized third-party software to interact with the platform.
• Violation of Community Guidelines, including posting inappropriate content.
• Failure to verify identity when requested for security purposes.

LoveLink will attempt to notify you via the email address associated with your account or in-app notification before termination, except where immediate action is required to protect users or the platform.

LoveLink may terminate your account immediately, without notice or refund, in cases involving:

• Suspected illegal activity, including solicitation, fraud, or trafficking.
• Reports of criminal behavior verified by law enforcement agencies.
• Severe violation of safety protocols or misuse of AI matching features for malicious purposes.
• Use of the platform for any purpose prohibited by applicable law or regulation.

In such cases, LoveLink reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement and disclose your information as required by law.

Upon termination of your account, whether voluntary or imposed by LoveLink:

• Access Revocation: Your right to access and use the Services will cease immediately. You will no longer be able to log in, send messages, view profiles, or use any features of the platform.
• Matches & Conversations: All active matches will be dissolved. Your conversation history will no longer be accessible to you. Matched users may retain a copy of conversations for their records, but your profile information will be obscured.
• AI Data: Your data will be removed from the AI matching algorithm's active pool. Historical anonymized data may be retained for model improvement as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Third-Party Integrations: Any integrations with third-party services (e.g., social media logins) will be disconnected.

LoveLink is committed to respecting your privacy. Upon termination of your account:

• Grace Period: A 30-day grace period will begin, during which your account remains in a deactivated state. If you log in during this period, your account will be restored.
• Permanent Deletion: After the grace period, all personally identifiable information (PII) will be permanently deleted from our active databases, including profile photos, bio text, location history, and message content.
• Legal Retention: Certain data may be retained beyond termination as required by law, regulatory obligations, or to enforce our agreements. This includes transaction records, fraud prevention logs, and safety reports.
• Backups: Deleted data may persist in secure backups for up to 90 days before being purged.

Voluntary Termination: If you terminate your account while holding an active Premium or VIP subscription, your access to premium features will end immediately. No refunds will be provided for the remaining portion of the billing cycle unless explicitly stated in our Billing Policy or required by local law.

Termination by LoveLink: If your account is terminated by LoveLink for cause (violation of Terms), no refunds will be issued for any outstanding subscription fees. If termination occurs without cause, a prorated refund may be issued at LoveLink's discretion.

Certain provisions of these Terms of Service shall survive the termination of your account or these Terms. These include, but are not limited to:

• Disclaimer of Warranties
• Limitation of Liability
• Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
• Governing Law
• Indemnification obligations

These surviving terms will remain in full force and effect after termination to the extent necessary to protect the rights and interests of LoveLink and its users.
