Revised Platform Fee Structure: New Tiered Model

Starting July 15, 2025, we're transitioning to a new tiered fee model designed to support early-stage creators. Campaigns raising under $50,000 will see a reduced platform fee of 4% (down from 5%), while higher-tier campaigns will maintain current rates. Payment processing fees remain unchanged at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

Updated Data Retention Policy & User Deletion Process

We've updated our data retention policies to provide users with more control over their personal information. Users can now request full data export and account deletion directly from their dashboard. Account data will be retained for a maximum of 3 years after account closure for legal and tax purposes, then permanently deleted.

New Creator Fund Protection Guarantee

RaiseIt now guarantees that 100% of pledged funds will be protected in an escrow account throughout the campaign duration. In the rare event of platform insolvency, all campaign funds will be returned to backers. This new guarantee is funded through a new $50M Creator Protection Reserve established in partnership with leading financial institutions.

All campaign creators using AI-generated images, videos, or text in their campaign pages must clearly disclose this in their content. This includes AI-generated product renders, mockup images, and promotional materials. Failure to disclose may result in campaign suspension. New disclosure badges will be displayed on campaigns using AI content.

RaiseIt now supports cryptocurrency donations (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC) for campaigns in select markets. Additionally, we've partnered with local payment providers to add 15 new payment methods across Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions, including Alipay, Mercado Pago, and GCash.
