For Creators

How do I launch my first campaign? +
Creating a campaign is simple. Click "Start a Campaign", fill in your project details, set your funding goal and deadline, upload photos/videos, and choose reward tiers. Our review team verifies and approves campaigns within 24-48 hours.
What is the platform fee structure? +
RaiseIt charges a 5% platform fee on all successfully funded campaigns. Payment processing fees are 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. There are no hidden fees or monthly subscriptions.
Can I change my funding goal after launch? +
Yes. You can increase or decrease your goal at any time through your campaign dashboard. Note: lowering the goal may affect campaign momentum and backer trust, so we recommend careful consideration.
How long can I run a campaign? +
Campaigns can run for up to 60 days. We recommend 30-45 days for optimal momentum. You can extend by 7 days at a time if needed, up to the maximum limit.

For Backers

What happens if a project doesn't reach its goal? +
RaiseIt uses an all-or-nothing model. If the funding goal isn't met by the deadline, no money is collected from backers, and your payment method is never charged.
How do I request a refund? +
If a campaign fails, refunds are automatic. If a project succeeds but the creator delays delivery, contact us with your order number. We mediate disputes and issue refunds within 5-7 business days when justified.
Is my payment information secure? +
Absolutely. We use Stripe PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processing. All transactions are encrypted with TLS 1.3, and we never store your full card details on our servers.

Payments & Payouts

When and how do I receive payouts? +
Funds are released to your connected bank account 3-5 business days after a campaign ends. You can set up recurring payouts or manual withdrawals from your dashboard.
What payment methods do supporters have? +
Backers can use all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and bank transfers in supported regions.
Are there international fees? +
Cross-border transactions incur a 1% currency conversion fee. Payouts to international banks may include additional wire fees depending on your banking institution.

Platform Policies

What types of projects are allowed? +
RaiseIt supports creative, technological, environmental, and community projects. We prohibit campaigns promoting hate speech, illegal activities, financial speculation, or physical harm.
How do you handle failed or fraudulent campaigns? +
Our trust & safety team monitors campaigns continuously. If fraud or policy violations are confirmed, we immediately suspend the campaign, refund backers, and ban the account. Legal cooperation follows when necessary.
Can I update my backers during production? +
Yes. We strongly encourage monthly updates. Creators can post text, images, videos, and surveys directly to their campaign page to keep backers informed and engaged.
