At That Is A Q, we believe that exceptional work begins with exceptional standards. This Code of Conduct outlines the ethical principles, professional behaviors, and responsibilities that guide every decision, interaction, and output across our organization.
1 Purpose & Scope
This document establishes the baseline expectations for professional integrity, compliance, and mutual respect. It applies to all team members, whether working remotely, on-site, or collaborating with clients and vendors. Every individual is expected to read, understand, and adhere to these guidelines.

3 Workplace Behavior & Conduct

- Collaborating transparently and sharing knowledge openly

4 Anti-Discrimination & Harassment
That Is A Q maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, unwelcome conduct based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
Harassment extends to verbal, physical, visual, or digital forms, including inappropriate jokes, slurs, advances, or retaliation. All incidents will be investigated promptly and confidentially.
5 Conflicts of Interest
Team members must avoid situations where personal interests could interfere with, or appear to interfere with, the best interests of the company. This includes:
- Undisclosed financial relationships with clients, vendors, or competitors
- Outside employment or consulting that duplicates company work
- Using company resources for personal gain or external projects
Any potential conflict must be disclosed immediately to your direct manager or the HR/Compliance team.
6 Data Privacy & Security
We handle sensitive client and internal data with the highest degree of care. All team members must:
- Comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Use only approved tools, repositories, and communication channels
- Never share credentials, API keys, or proprietary data externally
- Report suspected breaches or phishing attempts immediately
7 Use of Company Assets & Intellectual Property
All work product, code, designs, documentation, and client materials created during employment remain the intellectual property of That Is A Q or our clients, as governed by contract. Company devices, software licenses, and accounts are to be used strictly for authorized business purposes.
8 Reporting Violations & Non-Retaliation
If you witness or experience a violation of this Code, you are encouraged to report it through one of the following channels:
- Direct manager or team lead
- People & Culture / HR Department

Non-Retaliation Guarantee: That Is A Q strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports concerns in good faith or participates in an investigation. Violations of this guarantee will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
9 Enforcement & Compliance
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including mandatory training, written warnings, suspension, or termination of employment/contract, depending on the severity and circumstances. Legal action may be pursued where laws, contracts, or intellectual property rights are violated.
This document does not constitute an employment contract and may be updated periodically to reflect legal changes, operational needs, or cultural evolution.
