Every membership tier includes:

  • Access to all standard gym equipment and training zones

Do I need a health clearance or medical assessment?

+

We recommend consulting with a physician before starting any new fitness program, especially if you have pre-existing conditions. While we don't require a medical certificate, all members must complete a PAR-Q+ health questionnaire during registration.

Our certified trainers can help guide you through a safe onboarding process regardless of your starting fitness level.

Can I access multiple IronForge locations with one membership?

+

Yes! Our Elite membership includes unlimited access to all IronForge locations nationwide. Starter and Pro Athlete members can add a multi-location upgrade for a monthly fee starting at $15/month.

All locations share the same facilities, class schedules, and trainer network, so your experience is consistent wherever you train.

Do you offer family or couple plans?

+

We currently offer a Duo Plan for couples or partners at a combined rate of $99/month (save ~30% vs. two individual Starter memberships). Each person receives their own separate membership account.

For families with children, we recommend enrolling teens in our Teen Program and pairing it with your own membership. Contact our membership team for custom family pricing.

Is there a military or first responder discount?

+

Absolutely. We proudly offer a 20% discount on all membership tiers for:

  • Active-duty military and veterans
  • First responders (police, firefighters, EMTs)
  • Students with valid .edu email (15% discount)

Simply present valid ID or documentation at registration or contact our support team to apply the discount to your account.

Payments are processed automatically on your chosen billing date. All transactions are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption.

When will I be charged for my membership?

You'll be charged on the same calendar date each month as your join date. For example, if you join on March 15th, your recurring billing will occur on the 15th of every month.

You can view your billing date, history, and receipts anytime through the IronForge App under Account > Billing or by contacting our support team.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership plan?

+

Yes! You can change your plan at any time through the IronForge App or by speaking with a staff member. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Downgrading: The new lower rate applies from your next billing date. No refund is issued for the remainder of the current billing period.

What happens if my payment fails or is late?

+

If your payment fails, we'll retry the charge automatically within 48 hours. You'll receive an email notification prompting you to update your payment method.

If payment is not resolved within 14 days of the billing date, a $10 late fee will be applied. If your account remains delinquent for 30+ days, access may be temporarily suspended until payment is received.

💡 Tip: Update your card info proactively before it expires to avoid any interruption in access.

Are there annual plans or setup fees?

+

Yes! We offer annual prepay plans that save you up to 2 months of membership fees. There is a one-time $49 enrollment fee for new members, which covers your fitness assessment, onboarding, and digital key setup.

The enrollment fee is waived during promotional periods. Check our pricing page for current offers.

How do I get a receipt or invoice for my membership?

+

Receipts are automatically emailed after each transaction. You can also download past invoices through the IronForge App or by logging into your account on our website.

For tax or employer reimbursement purposes, we can provide a formal invoice with your employer's details. Contact our billing team at billing@ironforge.fit.

  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (staffed)
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (staffed)
  • After hours: 24/7 keyless entry via app or membership card

Group classes are only offered during staffed hours. Recovery suite access may be limited after hours for safety.

How do I access the gym? Do I need a key or card?

+

Members can enter using any of the following methods:

  • IronForge App: Scan your digital QR code at the entrance reader
  • Membership Card: Tap your physical RFID card at any reader
  • Smartphone NFC: If enabled, tap your phone directly on the reader
  • PIN Code: A unique 6-digit PIN is assigned during onboarding

During staffed hours, you can also ask the front desk for assistance. For security, do not share your access credentials with non-members.

I lost my membership card or forgot my PIN. What do I do?

+

No worries! You can:

  • Use the IronForge App as a temporary access method immediately
  • Visit the front desk during staffed hours for a replacement card ($5 fee)
  • Reset your PIN through the App under Account > Security

If your account appears compromised, contact support immediately so we can temporarily lock and reissue your credentials.

Is the gym closed on holidays?

+

IronForge remains open on all major holidays, including New Year's Day, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. However, holiday hours may be reduced, and some group classes may be modified.

We may close temporarily for scheduled maintenance or deep cleaning. These closures are communicated at least 72 hours in advance via app notification and email.

What happens during a lockdown or emergency?

+

Safety is our top priority. In case of an emergency:

  • Entrance doors will automatically lock to prevent unauthorized entry
  • An automated announcement will instruct members on the appropriate response (evacuation, shelter-in-place, etc.)
  • Emergency contacts will be notified through the IronForge App
  • Local authorities will be contacted if needed

All members should familiarize themselves with the emergency exit map posted at each entrance and inside the facility.

🏆

Classes & Programs

How many classes can I attend per week?

+

Class limits depend on your membership tier:

  • Starter: Up to 2 group classes per week
  • Pro Athlete: Unlimited group classes
  • Elite: Unlimited classes + priority booking

Individual Starter members can purchase additional class add-ons or upgrade their plan anytime.

How do I book or reserve a class spot?

+

Book classes easily through the IronForge App:

  • Browse the weekly class schedule by studio, instructor, or type
  • Select your preferred class and time slot
  • Tap "Book" to reserve your spot (spots are first-come, first-served)

Cancellation: You must cancel at least 2 hours before class start time. Three no-shows within a 30-day period may result in a temporary booking restriction.

I'm a beginner. Are classes suitable for my level?

+

Absolutely! Most of our classes welcome all fitness levels. Instructors provide modifications for beginners and progressions for advanced athletes.

We also offer "Fundamentals" series for each discipline (Yoga 101, Boxing Basics, HIIT Foundations) specifically designed for newcomers. Check the class description in the app for level indicators.

Are all instructors certified and qualified?

+

Yes. Every IronForge instructor holds at least one nationally recognized certification (ACE, NASM, NSCA, RYT, etc.) and completes our IronForge Instructor Training Program before teaching.

Our lead coaches hold advanced credentials (CSCS, CES, Precision Nutrition) and many have competitive or professional sports backgrounds. You can view each instructor's bio and credentials in the app.

How does personal training work at IronForge?

+

Personal training is available through our Pro Athlete and Elite memberships, or as a standalone add-on:

  • Initial Consultation: Free 30-minute session to discuss goals, assess movement, and create a plan
  • Session Length: 45 or 60-minute options
  • Frequency: As few as 1x/week or unlimited (Elite)
  • Standalone Sessions: $65/session (non-members) or $45/session (Starter members)

Your trainer will build a custom program, track your progress, and adjust based on your results.

We provide all specialized equipment (yoga mats, boxing gloves, kettlebells, resistance bands, etc.). You should bring:

  • Water bottle (refill stations throughout the gym)
  • Towel (provided at reception or available in lockers)
  • Proper athletic shoes (closed-toe required for most classes; barefoot allowed for yoga and lifting)

Cancellation & Freezes

How do I cancel my membership?

+

Canceling your membership is straightforward:

  • Online: Go to the IronForge App > Account > Membership > Cancel
  • In-Person: Visit the front desk and fill out a cancellation form
  • Phone/Email: Contact support at (555) 123-4567 or members@ironforge.fit

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You'll retain full access until that date. No hidden fees or retention calls — we believe in earning your loyalty, not trapping it.

Can I freeze or pause my membership?

+

Yes! Members can freeze their account for 1 to 6 months for reasons including:

  • Extended travel or relocation
  • Injury or medical recovery
  • Pregnancy or postpartum
  • Military deployment

A $5/month freeze fee applies to maintain your account. Billing is suspended during the freeze period. Request a freeze through the App or front desk with any required documentation (e.g., doctor's note for medical reasons).

Are memberships month-to-month or locked in?

+

All IronForge memberships are month-to-month with no long-term contracts (unless you choose a discounted annual prepay plan).

You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. Annual prepay members who cancel early will forfeit the remaining months but won't be charged additional fees. We don't believe in trapping members with multi-year commitments.

I'm moving to a new city. Can I transfer my membership?

+

If there's an IronForge location in your new city, we can transfer your membership at no cost. Your account, training history, and plan tier will carry over.

If we don't have a location nearby, you can cancel with 30 days' notice and receive a prorated refund for unused days in your current billing cycle. We'll also hold your Elite status for up to 12 months should you return to a market we serve.

What happens to a membership if a member passes away?

+

In the unfortunate event of a member's passing, the membership is immediately canceled with no further charges. A prorated refund for unused days may be issued to the estate upon request.

Please contact our member care team at care@ironforge.fit with a death certificate or obituary link. We will handle the account closure with care and discretion.

I canceled my membership. Can I rejoin?

+

Of course! Former members are always welcome back. Rejoining is as simple as creating a new membership through the app or in-person. Your previous training data and preferences may still be on file for a smoother onboarding.

We occasionally offer "Welcome Back" promotions for lapsed members — check your email or visit us for current offers.

👥

Guests & Add-Ons

Can I bring a guest to work out with me?

+

Yes! Guest policies vary by membership tier:

  • Starter: 1 free guest day per month
  • Pro Athlete: 2 guest days per month
  • Elite: 4 guest days per month + priority guest check-in

Guests must be at least 16, sign a waiver, and stay with you at all times. Additional guest days can be purchased for $10/day. Guests do not have access to group classes or the recovery suite.

Can I rent a personal locker?

+

Yes. We offer two locker options:

  • Day-use lockers: Free for all members during your visit

Elite members receive a complimentary personal locker in the VIP locker room. Personal lockers are not for overnight storage and must be cleared when not in use for 30+ days.

Is the sauna and recovery suite included in my membership?

+

Recovery suite access depends on your tier:

  • Starter: Basic shower and locker access only
  • Pro Athlete: Full access to sauna, steam room, and cold plunge
  • Elite: All recovery amenities + massage therapy discounts and VIP lounge

Recovery suite hours may differ from main gym hours. Check the app for daily schedules. All members must shower before and after using recovery amenities.

+

Yes! All IronForge locations include complimentary parking for members and guests. We also provide:

  • Bike racks and secure bike storage
  • EV charging stations at select locations
  • ADA-accessible parking spots near the entrance

Public transit and rideshare drop-off zones are clearly marked at all entrances.

  • Pre- and post-workout smoothies and protein shakes
  • Whole-food snacks (protein bars, fruit bowls, wraps)
  • Branded and third-party supplements (protein powders, BCAAs, creatine, vitamins)

Members receive 10% off all cafe and supplement purchases. Nutrition consultations are available as an add-on service.

🛡️

Refunds & Guarantees

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee or money-back refund?

+

Yes. IronForge offers a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for all new members:

  • If you're not satisfied within your first 14 days, we'll refund your first month's membership in full
  • The $49 enrollment fee is non-refundable as it covers onboarding services already rendered
  • Request a refund through the App, front desk, or support email

We're confident you'll love IronForge — this guarantee is our promise to earn your long-term trust.

Will I receive a prorated refund if I cancel mid-month?

+

For month-to-month members, cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle with no prorated refund — you retain full access until your cycle ends.

For annual prepay members, early cancellations may qualify for a prorated refund of unused months minus a $75 administrative fee, subject to terms of your prepay agreement. Contact billing for specifics.

What if I get injured at the gym?

+

IronForge maintains a comprehensive general liability insurance policy that covers facility-related incidents. In the event of an injury:

  • Report the incident to front desk staff immediately
  • Our staff will provide first aid if needed and assist with emergency services
  • An incident report will be filed for insurance purposes

All members sign a standard waiver acknowledging the inherent risks of physical exercise. Our insurance covers negligence-related claims but not injuries from normal workout activities. We strongly recommend personal health or gym accident insurance.

How do I file a complaint or resolve an issue?

+

We take member feedback seriously. To resolve any issue:

  • Step 1: Speak with any front desk staff member — most issues are resolved on the spot
  • Step 2: If unresolved, email support@ironforge.fit for escalation to the Membership Director
  • Step 3: All formal complaints are reviewed within 48 hours with a written response

We aim for 100% resolution satisfaction and will make things right if we fall short.
