How Matching Works

Our recommendation engine analyzes explicitly provided preferences (location, age range, relationship goals) alongside implicit behavioral signals (message engagement, profile view duration, swipe patterns). We do not use sensitive attributes like race, religion, or political affiliation in core matching unless you explicitly enable them in your preferences.

Data Collection & Usage

Data Retention

Inactive accounts are archived after 12 months. All personal data is permanently deleted 30 days after account deletion requests. We retain only minimal transaction logs for legal compliance (up to 7 years where required by law).

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, fraud, and exploitation. Our moderation operates through a hybrid human-AI system.

Verification Process

Users can opt into photo verification using real-time selfie matching against uploaded profile images. Verified badges indicate successful completion. Government ID is never stored permanently; only a cryptographic hash is retained for fraud prevention.

Moderation & Enforcement

• Automated Filtering: AI scans messages and media for hate speech, threats, and explicit non-consensual content.
• Human Review: A dedicated safety team reviews 100% of escalated reports within 2 hours during business hours.
• Shadowbanning & Bans: Repeat offenders receive progressive penalties. Permanent bans are irreversible and shared with industry safety networks where legally permitted.

Subscription Model

We operate on a clear tiered subscription model (Free, Premium, VIP). All pricing is displayed upfront before checkout. No hidden fees, no surprise auto-renewal traps. You can cancel anytime with full refund eligibility within 14 days of purchase, per consumer protection laws.

Advertising Policy

We do not serve third-party behavioral ads on LoveLink. Promotional content is clearly labeled as "Sponsored" and never uses intimate profile data for targeting. We partner only with brands aligned with our community values (e.g., wellness, travel, dining).

🔗 Third-Party Integrations

We integrate with select services to enhance functionality, but we limit data sharing to the minimum necessary:

• Payment Processors: Stripe & PayPal (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store full credit card numbers.
