Accessibility Standards
LuxeMart strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
We have completed an accessibility audit of our platform. While we are in full compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA for core shopping experiences, we continuously work to improve edge cases and third-party integrations.
Accessibility Features
We've built the following accessibility features into the LuxeMart experience:
Full Keyboard Navigation
Every interactive element can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone. Tab order follows a logical sequence.
Screen Reader Compatibility
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and live regions ensure compatibility with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
Resizable Text
Content scales up to 200% without loss of functionality or horizontal scrolling. Font sizes use relative units (rem/em).
High Contrast & Color Independence
Text meets 4.5:1 contrast ratio minimum. Information is never conveyed by color alone. Icons and text labels are paired.
Descriptive Alt Text
All informative images, icons, and product visuals include meaningful alternative text. Decorative elements are hidden from assistive tech.
Accessible Forms
Clear labels, instructions, error identification, and inline validation guidance ensure forms are usable by everyone.
