FAQ
Everything you need to know about our virtual vet services.
Yes. Every vet on the Paws Source platform is fully licensed, DEA-registered, and board-certified in their specialty. All consultations are conducted in compliance with state veterinary telehealth regulations.
In most cases, yes. If a physical exam isn't required by state law, our vets can issue e-prescriptions for medications like flea prevention, antibiotics, or allergy relief. These are sent directly to your preferred pharmacy or our pet store for fast delivery.
Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency veterinary care. If your pet is choking, unconscious, having severe difficulty breathing, or in critical condition, please contact your local emergency vet clinic or animal hospital immediately.
Have your pet's medical records, vaccination history, and a list of current medications ready. If possible, take clear photos or short videos of the symptoms. Make sure you're in a quiet space with a stable internet connection for the best experience.
