Refund Policy
Refunds are processed strictly according to the cancellation tiers above. Please note the following guidelines:
- Original Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the same card or payment account used for the original booking.
- Processing Time: Bank processing typically takes 5–10 business days after approval. Credit card statement updates may vary by issuer.
- Travel Credits: Issued credits are tied to the original booker's profile, non-transferable, and redeemable exclusively through VoyageLux. Credits expire 24 months from issuance.
- Third-Party Providers: Some hotels, airlines, or tour operators have strict non-refundable policies. VoyageLux will advocate on your behalf, but provider terms take precedence in certain cases.
Exceptions & Special Circumstances
We recognize that unforeseen events occur. VoyageLux offers flexibility under the following conditions:
- Verified Medical Emergencies: Submit a physician's certificate within 48 hours of cancellation. Full refund or credit eligibility may apply.
- Travel Insurance Claims: We strongly recommend purchasing our premium VoyageProtect insurance. It covers trip interruption, medical evacuation, and covered cancellations.
- Force Majeure: Natural disasters, government travel bans, or airline strikes may qualify for full rebooking or credit at no additional cost.
- Provider Cancellation: If VoyageLux or a partner provider cancels your trip, you will receive a 100% refund or equivalent upgrade/rebooking.
How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
Submitting a request is straightforward:
- Log in to your VoyageLux Dashboard and navigate to "My Bookings".
- Select the reservation and click "Request Cancellation".
- Choose your preferred resolution (Cash Refund or Travel Credit) and submit.
- Alternatively, email support@voyagelux.com with your booking reference and reason for cancellation.
- Our team will review and respond within 24 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Partial cancellations are permitted, but the refund amount will be calculated based on the per-person rate and applicable cancellation fees. The remaining guests' reservations remain active.
Travel credits are automatically applied to your account. Simply log in, select your next destination, and apply the credit at checkout. Credits can be combined with new payments but cannot be exchanged for cash.
If your trip is impacted by airline disruptions, contact us immediately. We will coordinate rebooking on alternative flights or adjust your itinerary at no extra cost. Refunds follow the provider's liability terms.
