Flexible Cancellation & Refund Policy (2025)
We've revised our cancellation and refund framework to offer greater flexibility while maintaining fairness for our travel partners. This applies to all bookings made on or after January 15, 2025.
- Extended free cancellation window from 48 hours to 72 hours before the scheduled departure for standard bookings.
- New "Travel Flex" add-on — for $49 per booking, guests receive full refund eligibility up to 7 days before departure.
- Luxury package cancellations now offer 80% refund (previously 60%) if cancelled more than 14 days before departure.
- Force majeure now includes climate-related disruptions and government-issued travel advisories.
- Removed the non-refundable "flash sale" category — all promotional bookings now follow standard cancellation terms.
Payment Methods & Financial Security Update
Our payment infrastructure has been upgraded to support more payment options and stronger fraud prevention. We're also introducing milestone-based payment plans for luxury bookings.
- New payment options: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH) for bookings over $5,000.
- Milestone payment plans now available for packages over $10,000 — pay in 3 installments (30% booking, 40% confirmation, 30% pre-departure).
- 3D Secure authentication now mandatory for all card transactions above $500 for enhanced fraud protection.
- All refunds are processed within 5-7 business days (previously 10-14 days) to the original payment method.
Booking Confirmation & Itinerary Management
We've streamlined the booking confirmation process and introduced new self-service itinerary management tools for greater traveler convenience.
- Instant digital booking confirmations with QR code check-in capability for all partner hotels and resorts.
- Guests can now modify travel dates up to 10 days before departure directly through their account dashboard (previously required agent assistance).
- New "Trip Sharing" feature — share your itinerary with up to 5 trusted contacts via secure link.
Sustainability & Responsible Travel Policy
As part of our commitment to responsible tourism, we've introduced a comprehensive sustainability policy that guides our operations, partner selection, and travel recommendations.
- All new hotel and resort partners must meet our "VoyageLux Green Standards" covering energy efficiency, waste management, and community impact.
- Carbon offset program now included in every booking at no additional cost — we calculate and offset 100% of flight emissions.
