Prohibited Activities & Restricted Items

MarketFlow is committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and compliant global marketplace. This policy outlines activities, items, and behaviors that are strictly prohibited on our platform. Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, or legal action in accordance with applicable laws.

1. Overview & Scope

These guidelines apply to all users, including buyers, sellers, affiliates, and third-party integrators. MarketFlow reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Note: Items or activities not explicitly listed here may still be prohibited if they violate local, state, or international laws, or if they conflict with MarketFlow's core safety and community standards.

2. Illegal & Restricted Goods

The sale, purchase, or distribution of the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Illicit drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapon components (unless legally licensed and permitted in specific jurisdictions)
  • Human organs, bodily fluids, or illegal biological materials
  • Endangered wildlife, protected plant species, or unauthorized hunting trophies
  • Hazardous materials, including radioactive, highly flammable, or toxic substances without proper certification
  • Government documents, official seals, or state identification (passports, driver's licenses, etc.)
⚠️ Important: Certain legal items may still be restricted in specific regions. Sellers are responsible for verifying compliance with local regulations before listing.

3. Counterfeit & Intellectual Property Violations

MarketFlow enforces strict IP protection policies. The following are prohibited:

  • Replicas, knockoffs, or unauthorized copies of branded products
  • Use of trademarked logos, names, or designs without explicit brand authorization
  • Reselling digital licenses, software keys, or subscription accounts without proper entitlement
  • Unauthorized reproduction of copyrighted media (books, music, films, art, or code)

Trademark owners may submit DMCA or IP infringement reports through our Trust & Safety Portal. Verified violations will result in immediate takedown and potential account termination.

4. Fraud & Deceptive Practices

Fraudulent behavior undermines marketplace integrity. Prohibited activities include:

  • Misrepresenting product condition, specifications, or authenticity
  • Using fake reviews, manipulated ratings, or incentive-based feedback schemes
  • "Brushing" orders, phantom shipping, or deliberately sending empty/incorrect packages
  • Phishing, account takeover attempts, or impersonating MarketFlow staff or verified users
  • Circumventing platform fees, payment rails, or buyer/seller protections

5. Harmful or Offensive Content

MarketFlow fosters an inclusive environment. The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Hate speech, discriminatory listings, or content promoting violence/harassment
  • Adult content, non-consensual media, or exploitative material
  • Gloryfication of self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Threatening, stalking, or doxxing behavior in messages, reviews, or public posts
⚠️ Zero Tolerance: Severe or repeated violations of this section may trigger immediate account suspension without prior notice.

6. Platform Manipulation & Spam

Automated or coordinated interference with MarketFlow's operations is prohibited:

  • Use of bots, scrapers, or unauthorized APIs to mass-list, purchase, or manipulate pricing
  • Creating duplicate accounts to bypass restrictions or abuse promotions
  • Spamming buyers with unsolicited messages, external links, or off-platform transaction requests
  • Artificial inflation of search rankings, sales volume, or review counts

7. Financial & Payment Violations

All transactions must comply with applicable financial regulations and MarketFlow's payment policies:

  • Money laundering, structuring, or facilitating illicit financial flows
  • Using stolen credit cards, compromised payment methods, or unauthorized accounts
  • Crypto or high-risk payment schemes without explicit platform approval
  • Refusal to honor legitimate refund requests or chargeback disputes per policy guidelines

8. Enforcement & Consequences

MarketFlow employs automated monitoring, community reporting, and manual review to enforce these policies. Consequences may include:

  • Immediate removal of violating listings or content
  • Temporary or permanent suspension of account privileges
  • Withholding of funds pending investigation or legal compliance
  • Referral to law enforcement or regulatory agencies when applicable
  • Ban from future platform access across all affiliated domains

Appeals may be submitted through the Seller/Buyer Support Portal within 30 days of enforcement action. Decisions are final after review.

Submit a detailed report with listing URLs, screenshots, or transaction IDs. We aim to respond within 48 business hours.
