All platform content, logos, and interface design are proprietary to MarketFlow. Users retain ownership of their listings and content but grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote such content for marketplace operations.

4. Limitation of Liability

MarketFlow acts as an intermediary and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of third-party listings. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use or transactions between users.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MarketFlow operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critical to us. This policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

Data Collection

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, payment details, shipping addresses) and automatically collect usage data (IP address, browser type, device info, interaction logs) to improve platform functionality and security.

How We Use Your Data

• Process transactions and facilitate marketplace communications
• Verify identities and prevent fraud
• Send service updates, order confirmations, and policy changes
• Personalize search results and product recommendations

Data Sharing

Seller Guidelines & Code of Conduct

MarketFlow empowers entrepreneurs, artisans, and businesses to reach global audiences. Sellers must adhere to the following standards to maintain marketplace integrity.

Account Requirements

All sellers must verify their identity, tax information, and bank details before processing payouts. Business sellers may be required to provide registration certificates depending on their jurisdiction.

Listing Standards

• Accurate titles, descriptions, and high-quality images
• Transparent pricing including taxes and fees
• Clear condition indicators (New, Refurbished, Used)
• Compliance with category-specific regulations

Payment & Payouts

Funds are held in escrow until buyer confirmation. Payouts are processed weekly to verified accounts. MarketFlow reserves the right to hold funds temporarily for risk review or dispute resolution.

Prohibited Items

Illegal substances, weapons, restricted pharmaceuticals, counterfeit goods, adult content, and items violating intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate suspension and forfeiture of funds.

Shipping & Returns Policy

We strive to ensure smooth transactions from checkout to doorstep. Both buyers and sellers are subject to the following shipping and return guidelines.

Buyer Protection

MarketFlow Buyer Protection covers items that are significantly not as described, undelivered, or damaged in transit. Eligible buyers may request a full or partial refund within 30 days of purchase.

Seller Shipping Responsibilities

• Ship items within the advertised processing time (typically 1-3 business days)
• Provide valid tracking information within 48 hours of payment
• Use secure packaging to prevent transit damage
• Notify buyers promptly of delays or backorders

Returns & Refunds

Sellers must clearly state their return policy (30-day standard recommended). MarketFlow mediates return requests where buyers and sellers cannot agree. Return shipping costs are typically covered by the seller for defective or misdescribed items, and by the buyer for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise stated.

Dispute Resolution Process

Conflicts are inevitable in any marketplace. We provide a structured, fair process to resolve issues efficiently.

1. Direct Communication: Buyers and sellers are encouraged to resolve issues through the platform messaging system first.
2. Formal Claim: If unresolved, either party may open a dispute case within 14 days of delivery or expected delivery date.
3. Mediation: A MarketFlow support specialist reviews transaction history, communications, and evidence to propose a resolution.
4. Arbitration: Unresolved disputes may be escalated to binding arbitration under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, unless local consumer laws mandate otherwise.
