We charge a 4% platform fee on successfully funded campaigns. Payment processing fees are standard (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). Failed campaigns are not charged the platform fee. All fees are clearly displayed in your dashboard before you publish.
Yes, you can adjust your goal up or down within the first 48 hours of launching. After that, the goal is locked to maintain backer trust. If you need to significantly adjust due to unforeseen circumstances, our creator success team can assist with a manual review.
Once your campaign ends and your goal is met, we initiate the payout process within 5 business days. Funds are held in escrow for 30 days to allow for chargeback windows, then transferred to your verified bank account via wire or ACH.
No, but you need a functional prototype or detailed production plan. Backers fund potential and vision. We strongly recommend showing progress (videos, CAD files, manufacturer quotes) to build credibility. Our pre-launch checklist will help you determine if you're ready.
